On August 20, 2014, a group of enthusiasts established the Museum of the Tyosov Narrow Gauge Railway based on the TTU. The main goal of the museum is to preserve the memory of narrow gauge railways that played a significant role in the economic development of the country during the Soviet era. The museum has a new section of track approximately 200 meters long.

The activities of the museum include:

1) Searching, acquiring, and restoring narrow gauge equipment throughout Russia.

2) Organizing excursions with tours of the exhibition and trips on the narrow gauge railway.

3) Since 2013, holding the military-historical reconstruction festival "Forgotten Feat, Second Shock Army" on the territory of the narrow gauge railway, combined with an exhibition of narrow gauge equipment. Military-historical clubs from CIS countries participate in the event.

The museum's collection includes:

A TU2-155 diesel locomotive with electric transmission, donated by Oleg Sergeyevich Valinsky, Vice President of JSC "Russian Railways", previously used on the Gorky Children's Railway.

TU4-1030 and TU4-2630 diesel locomotives with hydraulic transmission, the first of which requires major repairs.

A TU6D diesel locomotive, acquired in winter 2017 in a scrap condition and currently being restored.

A PD1 passenger motorized trolley, brought from the dismantled narrow gauge railway in Repolka and restored from scrap metal.

TD-5u motorized trolleys: three motorized and five trailer, one of which has been converted into a model armored trolley for reconstructions.

A TU6P railcar, restored from a completely non-working condition and first used after major repairs in the reconstruction "Forgotten Feat, Second Shock Army".

An AM1-169 railcar, delivered in August 2017 from the Anikin narrow gauge railway. Major repairs began in October 2019, and by September 2020, work on restoring the authentic interior of the cabin was completed. The railcar will be put into operation in December 2020.

Five passenger cars PV40, four of which were donated to the museum by O.V. Belozerov, General Director of JSC "Russian Railways". The cars were built in 1989 at the Demikhovsky Machine-Building Plant and were used on the children's railway in Rostov-on-Don until 2014 as part of the branded train "Ataman Platov". They were transferred to the museum on May 17, 2018.

Restored and painted in original color VC-20 tank cars, and a homemade car based on a platform from the Ust-Katav plant from 1940. A freight-passenger car from the VEB Waggonbau Ammendorf plant.

Passenger cars from the Görlitz plant, removed from the forest in poor condition, await restoration.

A non-self-propelled crane installation LT-110 No. 012, acquired from the Nuby forestry enterprise in February 2018.

The museum actively collaborates with the peat enterprise: the company's equipment is exhibited at museum events, and museum staff and volunteers perform ongoing minor repairs of rolling stock and track facilities of the narrow gauge railway.
