Фото 1
The "Kolomna Pastila" Museum, also known as the Museum of Disappearing Taste, is located in Kolomna, Moscow Region. It is situated in the wing of an old merchant estate of the Suranov family. Here, three types of Russian pastila are produced: airy protein, airy non-protein, and dense. The project was created by Natalia Nikitina and Elena Dmitrieva and is an example of social entrepreneurship. The museum is part of the Kolomensky Posad museum and creative cluster, and it was previously part of the creative cluster "City-Museum."

The museum opened on January 24, 2009, as part of the project "Kolomna Pastila. A History with Taste." Initially, it was planned to produce pastila in factories in the Moscow region, but this could not be realized. As a result, the museum organized its own production in the historic building of "Confectionery and Pastila Factory of Pyotr Karpovich Chuprikov on Polyanskaya Street." Initially, 7 varieties of pastila were produced, and by 2011, their number increased to 26. The museum features a summer cafe called "Tasty Stories," and there is also a permanent "Garden School" where local residents study the history and practice of gardening, the basics of landscape design, and horticulture.

In 2014, there were plans to open a branch of the museum in England and to create a Russian-British company for pastila production.
