The Frunze Museum, previously known as a center for ideological education, now serves historical and local lore functions. Although several stands dedicated to the Soviet revolutionary still remain, his name has been preserved in the title of the Shuya Museum and Cultural Center. This exhibition complex features the main exhibition "Time and Destinies," which highlights the history of Shuya and the biography of M.V. Frunze, as well as three permanent exhibitions: "City Model, City of Models," "Posters and Press from the Great Patriotic War Period," and "Russian and Foreign Secret Vessels."

The exhibition "Time and Destinies" introduces visitors to 19th-century Shuya, showcasing key stages in the city's development. Here, one can see typical clothing, tools, household items, and photo documents that create an image of cozy provincial Shuya.

The next hall is dedicated to the period between the revolutions of 1905 and 1917, displaying, for example, the prison case of local activist M.V. Frunze. The third hall tells the complex story of the Civil War, including the large diorama "Battle near Ufa" by Evgeny Korneev. It also features banners, firearms from the early 20th century, the 1918 magazine "Free Thought," newspaper clippings, and archival documents. A significant part of the exhibition is devoted to the NEP, the tragedies of collectivization, and the repressions of the 1930s in the Ivanovo region.

The exhibition "Russian and Foreign Secret Vessels," or "Bottles," presents containers that are difficult to use without solving a puzzle: some allow liquid to be poured in easily but are hard to empty, while others leak before the vessel reaches the lips.

A popular exhibition among visitors, "City Model, City of Models," includes a rich collection of miniatures, such as the Shuya Kremlin from 1600-1612, early 20th-century temple complexes, the Nikoloshartomsky Monastery, and the villages of Goritsy, Dunilovo, Bogorodskoye-Chechkino, and Vasilievskoye.
