In 1747, in the center of Svorotva, scribe Nikolai Ovsianyi built a wooden Uniate church with unusual architecture. It was a three-sided building with a tent roof and a small tower on top. It could be entered from any of the three sides, and the altar was located in the center. In 1823, Yakub Nezabytovskiy erected a stone church on the same site, which replicated the architectural features of the previous structure.

According to a description from 1864, there was a stone Holy Trinity Church of the sixth class in the village of Svorotva, built in 1823 by landowner Nezabytovskiy, with 35 desyatinas of land. The parish had 828 members. The church was associated with a wooden Transfiguration Church in the village of Malaya Svorotva, which had 100 desyatinas of land.

The description of churches and parishes of the Minsk diocese in 1879 mentions the stone Holy Trinity Church, built in 1823 by landowner Nezabytovskiy. The church had the shape of a regular triangle with one blind dome. The roof was covered with shingles, the windows were arranged in a single row, and there were three doors. Inside, the floor was made of brick, the ceiling was boarded and plastered. The iconostasis, created in 1868, was painted light blue with gilded cornices, frames, and carvings, and consisted of 13 icons in a single row. In addition to the iconostasis, there were four icons of the Holy Evangelists in the church. The bell tower, standing separately from the church, had three bells, the largest of which weighed about three poods.

The rector of the church was Zenon Budilovich, ordained in 1848. The church had a parish charity and a parish school. The memorial books of the Minsk province preserved the names of other rectors of the Holy Trinity Church in Bolshaya Svorotva: Alexander Vasilevskiy (1883-1902), Vladimir Solovyevich (1905), Dmitry Gladkov (1907-1914).

During the Great Patriotic War, the church was destroyed by fire. On July 19, 2009, the restored Holy Trinity Church was consecrated, rebuilt with the efforts of benefactors. The church is affiliated with the Holy Protection Church in the village of Pochapovo.
