Before the construction of the Orthodox Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the village of Milovidy, the Borisoglebskaya Church was located on its outskirts. The first mention of it is found in the documents "Visits of Uniate Churches of the Minsk and Novogrudok Councils 1680-1682." The wooden church was built with funds from the noblemen Bakhanovsky and Korsak, who was a military leader from Mstislavl. The priest of the parish was Roman Trofimovich, and the community had 112 parishioners.

Later, a church was built on this site in honor of the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple. There are conflicting data regarding the construction of the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in historical sources. The publication "Grodno Orthodox Church Calendar or Orthodoxy in the Brest-Grodno Land at the End of the 19th Century" states that the church was built in 1870 with funds from the government and parishioners. However, the same publication mentions that in 1866, ancient icons were already present in the church, suggesting that it was built by that time.

The Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the village of Milovidy was constructed between 1863 and 1867 from bricks by contractors N. Butkovsky, Sh. Skidelsky, and A. Prekher. A total of 6,991 rubles and 69 kopecks were allocated for its construction. It is a monument of architecture in the retrospective-Russian style. The composition of the church includes a three-tiered quadrangular bell tower, a refectory, a rectangular prayer hall, and an apse. The silhouette is dominated by the spherical dome of the bell tower, and the facades are adorned with arched window openings with rusticated archivolts.

Archival documents reveal that a brotherhood was established at the church in 1891, a church-parish guardianship was organized, a church school was opened in Novosady with 19 boys, and a public school in Milovidy with 50 students. During the Polish state period (1921-1939), the church was used as a geodetic point.

The memorial books of the Grodno province preserved the names of some of the church's rectors: Andrei Zhebrovsky (1877), Antoniy Novitsky (1882), Vasiliy Kudryavtsev (1888-1908), Yakov Illyukevich (1909-1915). In 1931-1932, the holy martyr Matfey (Matfey Alexandrovich Kritsuk) served here, who was canonized in 1999 and 2000. His memory is celebrated on October 28 and on the first Sunday after February 7.

Since June 1997, the rector has been Archpriest Sergey Leskevich.
