Behind the altar of the Kazan Cathedral lie the graves of the abbesses of the monastery. Until the early 1920s, there was a burial vault here, created in 1910 by the project of provincial engineer B.A. Savitsky thanks to the efforts of the monastery's benefactor Sergey Vasilyevich Perlov.

In February 1911, schema-hieromonkina Ekaterina (Sambikina, 1842-1911) was buried in this vault. In October of the same year, the remains of previously deceased abbesses were transferred there: schema-monkina Sofia (Bolotova, 1845-1888) and schema-hieromonkina Yevfrosiniya (Rozova, 1830-1904). In 1919, schema-hieromonkina Valentina (Rozantseva, 1864-1919), the last abbess before the monastery's closure, was buried here.

In one of the sections of the burial vault in 1910, according to his will, Sergey Vasilyevich was buried: "I want to lie in Shamorodino so that my children do not forget it. My grave will attract them here." After the monastery's closure, the burial vault was completely destroyed, and only the foundation remains.
