Before the construction of the stone church in Nedetovo, located on both sides of the Malyy Berezuy river, there was a wooden church on the right bank dedicated to the icon of the Mother of God "The Sign," with an altar in honor of St. George the Victorious.

In the 18th century, the village along with the wastelands belonged to the landowner G. P. Bakhmetyev. In 1798, a new brick church was built at his expense in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. This majestic single-altar church is adorned with pilasters and topped with a dome on a drum. Around 1909, a new bell tower was constructed, which has not survived to this day.

In the stone church of St. Nicholas with the altar of St. George, built in 1798 in the village of Nedetovo, the iconostasis does not conform to the traditional appearance accepted in other churches of the Peremyshl district. The description states: "The iconostasis is made of carpentry work with white columns and gilded cornices, painted in azure color. On the royal doors, there are carved gilded frames, between them four Evangelists in carved gilded medallions; above the doors is a gilded radiance. Under the iconostasis in the pillars are carved gilded stars on white paint. In the first tier: on the right is the image of the Savior, on the left is the image of the Mother of God. The southern door depicts the New Testament, the northern, the Old Testament. Between the main and altar churches are two images, of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and St. George the Victorious. In the altar, the royal doors and local images are similar to the main ones. The southern doors depict Archdeacon Stephen. Above the images in the main and altar churches are the twelve feasts in gilded medallions, above them are carved cherubs, white fabrics, and gilded tassels; above the church images is the Last Supper in a gilded medallion, above it is Golgotha with the crucifixion and figures of Mary Magdalene and Cleopas." Here, the luxury of carving and gilding is combined with the exclusion of elements traditionally included in the iconographic scheme of the iconostasis, leading to a reduction and alteration of its composition.

The church has long been abandoned and is in a state of emergency. An initiative group has been created for its restoration, and a website has been developed.
