In the first half of the 15th century, the modern-day Kruglovo was home to a settlement belonging to the Suzdal Spaso-Evfimiev Monastery. After internal conflicts in the mid-15th century and a Tatar raid on Suzdal in 1445, this settlement was destroyed, and its inhabitants left. In 1479, Grand Duke Ivan III of Moscow issued a charter to the archimandrite of the monastery, Yakim, mentioning that the settlement of Kruglovo had become deserted and overgrown with forest. The duke allowed people from other principalities to settle there, exempting them from paying tribute for ten years. Thus, a village emerged on the site of the wasteland, which belonged to the monastery until 1764 when it became a state village. Kruglovo was part of the monastery's estate and belonged to the parish of the Nikolskaya Church in the village of Sanino, located three kilometers to the north. The village was the largest in the Sanino parish, and local peasants long desired to build their own church. In 1869, an outbreak of horse deaths began in Kruglovo, which was considered a great calamity. The residents saw this as God's punishment and vowed to build a church. The deaths ceased, and that same year, a fire broke out in the neighboring village of Dmitrikovo, destroying almost all the houses. The residents of Dmitrikovo decided to help with the construction of the church in Kruglovo. With the permission of Archbishop Antoniy, a small warm stone church was laid in Kruglovo in 1869, consecrated in 1872 in honor of St. Nicholas. A new parish was formed around the church, including Kruglovo and three neighboring villages: Dmitrikovo, Pigasovo, and Zhadenka. Later, the construction of a larger cold church with a bell tower began, completed by 1880. The church was consecrated in honor of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. A clergy consisting of a priest and a psalmist was appointed to serve the churches, and land was allocated to them. In 1883, a church-parish school opened in Kruglovo under the management of local priests. Under priests Yefimiya Trofeev and Ioann Dobrodeev, the school expanded. By 1904, Kruglovo, which was part of the Bykovskaya volost of Suzdal district, had 128 households and 776 residents. After the creation of the Kameshkovsky district, Kruglovo became part of it and was the center of the village council from 1940-1959 and 1965-1977, which was renamed Koverinsky in 1977. Among the settlements of the Kruglovo parish, the village of Dmitrikovo is located a verst to the east of Kruglovo, on the banks of the Pechuga River. In 1539, Archimandrite German bought Dmitrikovo from landowner Ivan Korobov, and until 1764, the village belonged to the monastery, after which it became a state village. In 1904, Dmitrikovo had 60 households and 365 residents. The village of Pigasovo, half a verst to the north of Kruglovo, is separated from it by a small river. Previously, it was part of the parish of the village of Sanino and the monastery's estate. In 1904, Pigasovo had 290 residents in 55 households.
