In 1771, the residents of Alexandrov built a small stone chapel between the cathedral and the refectory church over the grave of Lukian, the founder of the monastery. The chapel was in the shape of a regular octagon, with a distance of three meters between the walls and a height of about six meters to the cross. On the tomb, there was a wooden board depicting St. Lukian in full growth, holding a scroll with the text of his will. Soon, a two-tiered iconostasis was installed in the chapel, and the walls were painted. Daily memorial services were held here.

After the closure of the monastery in 1926, the chapel of St. Lukian was desecrated and completely destroyed. When the monastery reopened in 1991, the brotherhood immediately began searching for the relics of St. Lukian. However, due to lack of experience, they could not accurately determine the burial site and only found the honorable head of the saint. The following year, with the help of experienced archaeologists, the relics were finally discovered, carefully collected, and placed in a carved wooden reliquary, which was installed in the Church of the Epiphany, where they remain to this day. The site where the chapel stood has only preserved its foundation and is covered with a metal dome, remaining in this state until now.
