Фото 1
The Stella features two commemorative inscriptions. On the front side, it states: "This monument is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the treaty of friendship between the peoples of Georgia and Russia. A true friend will always come to help, will not be afraid of trouble, will give heart for heart, and love will be the guiding star." On the reverse side, it reads: "In Georgievsk in 1783, the ambassadors of the Georgian King Irakli II and the Empress of All Russia Catherine II signed the treaty of friendship. The just tale is forever engraved in stone: those who do not seek friends are their own enemies."
