Until the end of the 18th century, the estate of Vysnie Gorki was owned by the noble family of Spasitelevs. At the end of the 18th century, they built a manor house. In the second half of the 18th century, part of the village of Nizhnye Gorki and the settlement of Vysnie Gorki belonged to Captain Marfa Afanasyevna Spasiteleva. At the same time, the village of Ivakhino, along with half of Vysnie Gorki, half of Nizhnye Gorki, and wastelands, was owned by the widow of Fyodor Vasilyevich Naumov, Maria Mikhailovna. The modern appearance of the estate was shaped by Agrafena Alexeyevna Durassova, the sister and heiress of the Moscow wealthy man N. A. Durassov, who built a dacha in Lyublino. She purchased the land in 1800 and 1803 and laid out a park on it. In 1824, the plot with the manor house was transferred to Durassova's son-in-law, Senator A. A. Pisariev.

After the reforms, the estate was owned by the Sushkins and other merchant families. In 1909, the estate of Gorki was acquired by Zinaida Grigoryevna, the widow of the manufacturer and patron Savva Morozov, who later married the Moscow mayor A. A. Reinbot.

With the funds of the new owner, the estate was reconstructed under the guidance of F. O. Shekhtel. In 1913 and 1915, according to the project of architect F. N. Kolbe, a farmyard, a water tower, stables, and park pavilions were built. In the pre-revolutionary years, Gorki became a large agricultural farm.

The garden had about 500 apple trees and 300 cherry trees. In the berry fields, there were more than 150 bushes of black currants, over 60 bushes of red currants, 24 beds of raspberries, and 26 of strawberries, as well as gooseberries. The vegetable garden occupied about 3.5 desyatinas. In 1918, about 5 thousand tomato bushes were planted, 0.5 desyatinas were occupied by onions, carrots, cucumbers, and cauliflower, and almost one desyatina was planted with cabbage. The farm had 300 greenhouse frames, and in the greenhouse, cyclamens, chrysanthemums, heliotropes, hydrangeas, orchids, roses, aralias, and lilacs were grown in pots.
