The church is located in the center of the city, near the market, on a small green area within the block. Built by Old Believers in 1823. The walls on a brick foundation are made of logs without remnants and covered with planking, with a hipped roof. This is an original Old Believer church, where ancient Russian traditions blend with elements of classicism. The building of the church has a rectangular shape and is elongated along the longitudinal axis, with two lowered five-sided extensions on the sides, resembling a transept. Above the gable roof rises the central light part of the temple with five domes. The altar does not stand out from the overall volume, nor does the large narthex to the west, which is accessed by a covered porch. The columns of the porch support a gentle pediment with a rectangular icon case.

The facades of the church are decorated in a late-classical style: framed window surrounds with lintels, a wide cornice above a smooth frieze, narrow pilasters at the corners, and profiled bands marking the facade below and above the windows, with vertical cladding. The window frames with arched lintels on the side narthexes stand out, with lintels on consoles and diamond-shaped inserts above the openings. Inside, the central part of the church has an elevation in the center of the ceiling, covered with a false vault supported by four round columns. Three openings lead to the altar, one each to the extensions and the narthex. The four-tiered iconostasis of simplified forms with turns to the side walls is a typical work from the second half of the 19th century. Its decor, featuring blind carvings, is done in an eclectic style and focuses on the royal doors. The icons are stylized after ancient Russian painting from the second half of the 17th century. In the local rite, they are separated by carved columns on high pedestals. The second and third tiers contain icons of the festive rite and Deesis. In the fourth, narrowed tier, icons depicting prophets and the scene of 'Golgotha' in the center are separated by fluted pilasters. Icons from the 19th-20th centuries have been preserved on the walls and in the icon cases. A two-tiered cast chandelier from the late 19th century.
