The church was built according to the design of V. M. Druzhinin, which was approved by the construction department of the Vyatka provincial government in January 1882. The temple stands out for the integrity of its volumetric structure due to its central composition and minimalist facade decor. Its appearance, with a massive helmet-shaped dome, unlike other religious buildings in the area, resembles ancient Pskov architecture. According to local residents' memories, the church originally had a five-domed completion, traces of which may have survived under the roofs of the protruding parts of the building. In the modern silhouette of the temple, the central dome dominates, while the lowered corner sections, which add a stepped volume, become noticeable only upon close inspection.

The layout of the cross-dome church is simple and takes the form of a wide Greek cross with shortened branches, the angles between which are filled with rounded walls. In these segments with wooden ceilings are located the premises: to the east, the deacon's room and the sacristy, to the west, the tents. The rectangular parts of the layout are successfully covered with semi-circular vaults, which serve as flying buttresses, reliably transferring the load of the dome to the walls.

The eclectic decor of the facades resembles folk wooden ornamentation, with notches in the frieze, schematic elements of classicism, conditional triglyphs, and brick corbels. The planes of the end walls with gentle slopes are enlivened by round windows in wide frames and archivolts of openings on stepped imposts. The cylinder of the drum is decorated with sixteen arched openings with keystone lintels. Through openings alternate with false ones, made in shallow niches, and are supported by ovals with flat crosses at the top of the drum. These crosses and round rosettes between the windows harmoniously combine with the overall appearance of the church, emphasizing its cross-shaped layout.

Currently, the monument is used as a rural House of Culture, which helps maintain its exterior in good condition. However, the interior decoration of the church does not correspond to its cult purpose, and one can only guess about the former merits of its interior.
