In the late 19th century, a large granary was built on what is now Osipenko Street, belonging to one of the wealthiest merchants of the first guild, Pavel Mikhailovich Mochalin. This granary stored various goods that the merchant, due to his status and financial capabilities, could sell to foreign companies. The city's favorable location contributed to the success of his business.

The fate of the granary's owner after the revolution remains unknown. However, the building itself has survived to this day in good condition, despite all the upheavals of the last century. Currently, it houses the closed joint-stock company 'Rosbalkanpharm,' and the building is included in the list of state-protected architectural monuments of regional significance.
