The administrative-residential building, constructed in 1874 and reconstructed in 1909-1910 and 1932, is part of the cultural heritage of regional significance, the "Ensemble of the Mius Tram Depot." It is the first building that greets visitors on Lesnaya Street.

The history of the Mius Tram Depot began with a horse-drawn railway park built between Lesnaya Street and Miusskaya Square in 1874. At that time, passenger service by tram opened from Voskresenskaya Square (now Revolution Square) to Smolensky (Belorussky) Station.

In 1901, when trams in the capital began to be converted to electric traction, the reconstruction of the Mius Park began. Until 1907, it served both new trams and the old horse-drawn carriages. In the early 20th century, a new brick complex of the tram depot was built, including an office, residential barracks for employees, and tram sheds. An impressive ensemble in eclectic style with Gothic elements emerged on Lesnaya Street, which underwent several reconstructions during the Soviet era. In the 1950s, it was converted into a trolleybus depot, and today, after restoration in the late 2010s, it has become a popular food court and leisure spot for Muscovites and tourists.

The two- to three-story Administrative-Residential Building of the Mius Depot was erected between 1901 and 1905. The residential part was intended for drivers, doctors, tram drivers, fitters, park supervisors, as well as for a pharmacy and a store. The administrative part housed a school for tram drivers and conductors, the office of the park manager, and a reception area. During the Soviet era, extensions were added to the building.

The oldest part of the building consists of single-story sheds from the early 20th century with arched windows facing Lesnaya Street. Three such windows have been preserved on the facade of the building. The facade features a blind arcade on the first floor, decorated with a cornice between the floors and window frames. On the third floor, there are interesting paired slit windows, under which ornamental friezes with Gothic motifs are located.

During the restoration and adaptation of the building in 2017 and 2019, its historical dimensions and layout were preserved, and the facade finishes were restored.
