The exhibition hall presents the exhibition 'A Wonderful City, An Ancient City... The Art of the Russian Builder of the 14th and 19th Centuries', dedicated to the architectural art in Russia and, in particular, the development of Moscow. It details the activities of craftsmen in construction trades, such as stonemasons, carpenters, and carvers, as well as the materials and technologies used.

The foundation of the exhibition consists of unique collections from the museum, showcasing the craftsmanship of Russian builders. Here, one can see architectural ceramics, a collection of house carvings, architectural metalwork, white-stone carved decor of Moscow churches, and icons with architectural backgrounds.

The exhibition 'A Wonderful City, An Ancient City... The Art of the Russian Builder of the 14th and 19th Centuries' confirms the high technical and artistic level of the art of Russian architects through museum exhibits.

It also tells about the lost masterpieces of Russian architectural heritage, fulfilling the important task of the museum to collect and preserve artifacts from past eras.

Thanks to extensive research, museum staff have been able to revive the names of some craftsmen from oblivion. Thus, this exhibition serves as a memory of monuments and a tribute to the masters of past times.

The exhibition is located on two levels: the upper level, the 'Atrium' hall, and the lower level, the 'Basement' hall.

Visitors can take advantage of an audio tour in Russian and English. As part of the entrance ticket, a video guide with translation into Russian sign language is available for people with hearing disabilities.

For the convenience of visitors, there is a ramp, elevator, restroom for wheelchair users, and a parking space. Also available are a booklet on the exhibition made in Braille, a plasma screen, multimedia panels, and touch kiosks.
