The estate at the intersection of Glazovsky and Denegny lanes was built in 1905 according to the design of architect S.S. Kuchinsky for wealthy manufacturers Pyotr Alexandrovich and Nikolai Petrovich Pavlov, owners of the "Partnership of Factories Founded by I.I. Skvortsov." This two-story mansion, adorned with an elegant dome and faced with two-colored ceramic tiles, is a striking example of architecture in the Art Nouveau style. Its appearance is complemented by a bay window with original glazing made of riveted metal structures.

The "Partnership of Factories Founded by I.I. Skvortsov," owned by the Pavlovs, was established in 1897, but the history of the Skvortsov-Pavlov factories dates back to the first third of the 19th century. Ivan Nikitich Skvortsov was the first to engage in manual fabric production, and his son, Ivan Ivanovich, founded the first mechanical weaving factory in the village of Sereda in the Kostroma province for the production of mitkal, a coarse cotton fabric used for calico and muslin. Later, he acquired another factory in the neighboring village of Pitsovo.

After the death of I.I. Skvortsov, the business passed to his daughter Matrena Ivanovna and her husband Pyotr Alexandrovich Pavlov. Matrena Ivanovna modernized the factories and expanded production while continuing her charitable work. In addition to the hospital and church built by her father, she financed the construction of a school at the factory and another church. The last owner of the factories was Nikolai Petrovich Pavlov, an actual state councilor and managing director of the Partnership. Under him, production expanded and before the revolution, it became one of the leading weaving enterprises in central Russia.

In the early 20th century, the Pavlovs preferred to live in Moscow, where the mansion in Glazovsky Lane was built for them. After 1917, it was nationalized and used for administrative purposes. Since 1963, it has housed the Information Center of the United Nations (UN) in Moscow.

The estate is a cultural heritage site.
