The only church that survived the times of persecution against faith and has remained to this day, albeit in a significantly altered form, is the church in honor of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Its construction took place from 1826 to 1828 with donations from benefactors. The main part of the funds was provided by the Rostov merchant and patron M. M. Pleshanov, as well as the Bishop of Orenburg and Ufa Augustine Sakharov, who lived in the Varnitsky Monastery. Other donors, such as Rostov merchants A. A. Titov and I. I. Balashov, also contributed to the construction.

The laying of the Vvedensky temple took place on May 1, 1826, and on May 15, 1827, a cross was placed on its dome. At this time, a contract was signed for the decoration of the church with paintings, the costs of which were borne by M. M. Pleshanov. He also financed the purchase of vestments for two altars and the altar, liturgical vessels, books, and the Gospel. The consecration of the main altar of the church took place on October 7, 1828, and the following year, two other chapels dedicated to the prophet Elijah and the apostle John the Theologian were consecrated. A guardhouse was arranged on one side of the church porch, and a sacristy on the other.
