The Timashevsk Museum of the Stepanov Family is dedicated to the history of a simple Russian woman and her nine sons who perished during the Civil War and the Great Patriotic War.

Since 1977, the museum has been granted state status and has gradually expanded into a museum complex that includes:

- The Stepanov Family Museum in Timashevsk;
- The memorial courtyard in the Olkhovsky hamlet (formerly the 1st of May hamlet);
- The 40th Anniversary of Victory Square with the monument "Mother";
- The memorial complex in the Dneprovskaya stanitsa, where E. F. Stepanova is buried.

One of the exhibitions in the main building of the museum in Timashevsk provides a detailed introduction to the history and culture of the Kuban Cossacks. Here, you can see a corner of a Cossack hut, a forge, a cavalry cart from the time of the Civil War, and much more.

In the hall "The Grandeur and Pain of the Stepanov Family," personal belongings, letters, and photo documents from the family archive are displayed. At the center of the exhibition are nine ruby bells, symbolizing nine drops of blood on a mother's heart. Busts of the brothers, created by sculptor Vladimir Zhdanov, are placed along the right wall.

Another hall of the museum, "Heroes of Timashevsk Land," is dedicated to the residents of Timashevsk who participated in the Great Patriotic War.
