The Church of the Resurrection of Christ, located in the monastery, was built in 1676 by Metropolitan Ion of Rostov. Since 1803, it has served as the monastery church for the Uglich Spiritual School. This stone structure features a sturdy bell tower. The church has four altars: the main one in honor of the Resurrection of Christ, to the right in honor of the Vladimir and Smolensk Icons of the Mother of God, and to the left below, in the warm chapel in honor of the Sign of the Mother of God and the Mother of God known as the Life-Giving Spring. Next to the church is a stone chapel dedicated to the Sign, which, according to legend, was built from the gates of the monastery enclosure.

The church is situated on a plot measuring 63 fathoms in length and between 7 to 15 fathoms in width. The wooden church house for the clergy is dilapidated. The church capital amounts to 1150 rubles in securities. There are 47 male and 72 female parishioners. The clergy consists of a priest, with a parish capital of 1968 rubles in securities.

The cathedral is adorned in various ways: the undercroft of the building is pierced with arches, the portals are decorated with bricks of different shapes, the arcade of the gallery is adorned with tiles, and the walls above the gallery are encircled with a decorative frieze. The temple is crowned with five bulbous domes on high thin blind drums, with the central dome being significantly larger than the side ones. Before the closure of the church, it housed the monastery's relics, including the temple icon "Resurrection with the Passion" from the early 17th century, a silver gilded cross, a star and chalice from 1678, as well as a Gospel from 1644.
