In 1782, a wooden Trinity church was built in Solovtsovka. From 1891 to 1896, with funds from the local landowner Alexander Alexandrovich Solovtsov, a stone temple was constructed in its place. Among the benefactors was the righteous John of Kronstadt, who donated 100 rubles for the construction. In this church, A. A. Belyaev was married, who later became the holy martyr Augustine, Archbishop of Kaluga and Borovsk.

In 1856, the same Solovtsov built a stone church in honor of All Saints over the family crypt, and in 1887, a stone chapel of the great martyr Paraskeva Friday over the holy spring.

The All Saints Church is not mentioned in Soviet documents and was demolished, along with the chapel over the spring. At the end of 1929 or the beginning of 1930, the Trinity temple was also closed. It reopened at the end of 1945 and was consecrated with great ceremony in honor of St. Sergius of Radonezh by Bishop Mikhail (Postnikov) on September 2, 1946. In the last years of his life, the priest-confessor John Olenyevsky served here, who was reburied behind the altar of the church in 1996, and after his canonization in 2001, his relics were transferred to the temple.

From 2005 to 2010, under the leadership of Archpriest Alexey Spirina, a decorative dome was installed on the central dome of the church, and a bell tower was built over the entrance.

In 1996, a metal chapel was erected over the spring of the great martyr Paraskeva Friday in the forest southwest of Solovtsovka, and in 2010, a wooden chapel was built over the spring of St. Sergius of Radonezh at the village pond.
