Since 1923, emigrants lost the opportunity to attend the church at the embassy, so they had to build their own temple. It was opened in 1927 at the intersection of Hohenzollerndamm and Ruhrstraße. Due to a lack of funds, part of the premises was rented out. The church has not survived.
