In 2015, a monument to the Mother Cossack was erected in Pyatigorsk. This memorial symbolizes the continuity of generations and the inviolability of family values. The history of the North Caucasus and Pyatigorsk is closely linked to the Terek Cossacks. The project author, Ravil Yusupov, chose the Cossack family as a symbol of traditional upbringing, moral foundations, and strength of spirit.

The monument is a bronze sculptural group depicting a young Cossack woman with children, bidding farewell to the family father as he goes off to war. Family is something dear and understandable to everyone, something that unites and warms, believes the sculptor. Yusupov, originally from Orenburg, grew up among Cossacks, and his Cossack woman is a composite image, including acquaintances, neighbors, and heroines from Sholokhov's works.

Ravil Yusupov is well-known to the residents of Pyatigorsk: he created a monument to General Ermolov. His talent knows no bounds, neither creative nor territorial. In Ingushetia, Yusupov installed a memorial to the Wild Division, and in Bryansk, a monument to Gagarin. His portfolio also includes a monument for the 400th anniversary of liberation from the Polish intervention and a project dedicated to the Moscow Olympics of 1980.
