The monument to Admiral D.N. Senyavin is located in a well-maintained square on Lenin Square. Nearby is an observation deck that offers a view of the surrounding area.
Senyavin, a well-known native of the Borovsky district, was a Russian naval commander and admiral who commanded the Baltic Fleet. In 1807, under his leadership, the Russian fleet achieved victories over the Turks in the Battle of Athos and at the Dardanelles. Around the monument, there are stands with Senyavin's biography and materials on maritime themes.
