The history of the church in Vinnovka dates back to the 1770s, when a church was built in the village, consecrated in honor of the icon of the Kazan Mother of God. In the 1840s, construction of a new stone church began. In February 1930, the church was closed by the decision of the Samara Regional Executive Committee. The bells were thrown down and smashed, and their fragments were sunk in the Volga, after which the church fell into complete disrepair. In 2003, with the blessing of Archbishop Sergey, the brotherhood of the Holy Resurrection Men's Monastery from Samara began restoration work. The architect of the monastery complex was the famous Samara architect Yuri Ivanovich Kharitonov. As part of the work, two new churches, brotherly buildings, a guest house, and a 47-meter bell tower designed as a lighthouse were built.
