The "Tula Gingerbread" Museum in Tula is dedicated to the history, diversity, and traditions of Tula gingerbread production. It was opened in 1996 in the former wings where the Lyalin brothers, who were gunsmiths and samovar makers, once worked. The gingerbread workshop and shop are also located in this building. Among the museum's exhibits, you can see various gingerbread molds of different shapes that once belonged to famous confectioners such as Serikov, Grechikhin, Belolipetsky, and Kozlov. There are also gingerbread packaging, photographs, and household items of Tula gingerbread makers, as well as the gingerbreads themselves, including the smallest and largest in Russia. The exhibits tell about the ancient traditions of gingerbread making, as well as the scales used to compare the proportions of ingredients. The exhibition includes gingerbreads made in honor of significant historical events, such as the anniversaries of the Battle of Kulikovo, the feat of Ivan Susanin, the Patriotic War of 1812, and those dedicated to the heroes of the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878. Among them is the "Heroic" gingerbread, gifted to the sailors of the cruiser "Varyag," and a gingerbread made for the coronation of Nicholas II. The museum's collection also tells about the traditions and rituals associated with the consumption of gingerbreads, which were made for angel's day, weddings, or memorials.

All exhibits are displayed in two rooms. The museum hosts tea parties where tourists are offered freshly baked gingerbreads with tea and are given a chocolate medal.
