The Osip Tsadkin Museum was founded in 1982 in the house that housed the workshop of the famous sculptor from 1928 to 1967. The creation of the museum was initiated by Tsadkin's widow, Valentina Prax, who donated a collection of his sculptures, gouaches, drawings, and engravings.

In a small green courtyard in front of the house, several sculptures greet visitors and set the mood for experiencing the artworks inside the building.

The first hall features early works of the sculptor made from various materials such as wood, terracotta, marble, lava, stone, and bronze. These works reflect the influence of cubism and primitivism, which significantly impacted his creativity.

The second hall is entirely dedicated to cubism and its gradual reinterpretation, with the addition of unique elements characteristic only to Tsadkin. He became a pioneer of a new method of working with plastic materials, leading to the creation of a unique combination of convex and concave forms, whimsical breaks, and voids within a single object.

The museum showcases famous works by Tsadkin in the cubist style, such as "Woman with a Fan" and "Beautiful Maid," as well as his renowned monuments to Van Gogh and the sculpture "Birth of Forms," which pays homage to expressionism. This small house tells visitors one of the important chapters in the history of 20th-century contemporary art.
