The Nature Museum features a natural science exhibition that includes over 1,500 exhibits. Among them stands out the most famous exhibit, a complete skeleton of a female mammoth named Matilda. Next to it, you can see the skeleton of a woolly rhinoceros, a scientific reconstruction of a cave bear, and a figure of a baby mammoth.

The museum also displays slabs with fossilized remains of dinosaurs found in the Kemerovo region. For young visitors, a rock of wonders has been created, adorned with sparkling amethyst druses and real fossils of ancient animals, whose ages are counted in hundreds of millions of years. A recreated grotto of the Barsukovskaya cave allows for the observation of digital bats in flight.

The halls dedicated to nature showcase the diversity of animals, birds, and insects that inhabit the Novosibirsk region.

Additionally, the museum organizes more than 10 temporary exhibitions on natural science topics each year. These can include photo exhibitions, natural science displays from the largest Russian museums, and projects by scientific staff of the NGKM.
