Today, very little remains of the Golovinsky Garden from the era of Peter the Great. Among the preserved structures from that time, the magnificent Venus Dam Bridge stands out, built in the 1720s by Dutch architect Nicholas Biydlo in honor of the coronation of Empress Catherine I. In the 1730s, according to some sources, the dam bridge was reconstructed by the Italian Count Rastrelli. Before the revolution, it was adorned with a statue of the goddess Venus, which, unfortunately, has not survived to this day. Although the bridge itself has suffered significant damage, it has still endured.
