The name of Eduard Vedel is linked to the winemaking history of Abrau-Dyurso. He became the creator of the first branded wines "Cabernet" and "Riesling," which received top awards at international exhibitions. Vedel was so devoted to the winery that he bequeathed to be buried on its grounds.
