The five-tiered bell tower with a lower tier housing the Holy Gates serves as the main entrance to the monastery. It is first mentioned in descriptions from 1764, but experts believe it was built in 1740. The diminishing steps of the octagons in each tier give it a resemblance to a tower. The upper part of the bell tower is adorned with a drum featuring brick ornamentation and topped with an onion dome and a golden cross. The middle tier housed a clock with chimes. According to the 1764 description, the bell tower was made of stone, with worn Russian-made clocks and seven bells of varying weights, and beneath it were the folding Holy Gates. In 1820, the number of bells increased to nine, as reported by Archimandrite Innocent of the Saint Nicholas Monastery to the Kursk Consistory.

On the second tier of the bell tower was an archive, and from 1910, a library. The arched oak doors with a bolt indicate that valuable items, books, or documents were once stored here. The bell tower has been rebuilt and repaired multiple times, with utility rooms added to its walls.

During the years of turmoil, this majestic structure suffered: for a long time, the bell tower stood with the Holy Gates bricked up, without a cross and with a ruined facade. Adjacent semi-ruined buildings were roofless. Currently, the bell tower has been restored, the brick patterns have been renewed, and bells and a cross have been installed.
