The main volume of this wooden church dates back to its original construction period. It is a quadrangular cubic log structure, to which the altar and refectory, expanded with chapels, are attached. The walls of the church are made of logs "in lap", and the carpenters demonstrated exceptional skill in this work. This is especially noticeable in the notching of the walls and altars of the chapels adjacent to the side facades of the cube on the southern and northern sides. Inside the church, one can feel a touch of antiquity. The interior has preserved the old proportions characteristic of buildings from the late 17th and the first half of the 18th century. Originally, the church was likely tiered, but in the second half of the 19th century, the top was replaced with a heavy dome. It is likely that at this time the refectory was extended to the west and a bell tower was built above the entrance, which overwhelms the overall silhouette of the elegantly conceived ancient part of the church. These later changes and distortions significantly altered the appearance of the building. However, the original appearance of the monument, both in composition and in structural features, is of significant interest and requires careful study and subsequent restoration.
