The Danilovo Art Gallery was opened in 1997, previously functioning as a House of Artistic Creativity until 2012. The first floor houses workshops and a folk art salon, while the second floor is dedicated to an exhibition space of 130 square meters.

Currently, the gallery's collection includes over 400 works. A significant part of the collection consists of donated paintings by I. K. Khorostyanov and G. E. Blinov, as well as graphic works by D. T. Tutundzhyan and S. A. Glushkov, and paintings and graphics by Yaroslavl artists.

The gallery actively organizes exhibitions, holding 9-10 events a year covering various themes and genres. Notable figures such as People's Artists of Russia D. T. Tutundzhyan and Yu. I. Semyonyuk, Oscar-winning animator A. K. Petrov, head of the Soyuzmultfilm studio M. V. Aldashin, People's Artist of Russia V. N. Strakhov, and many others have showcased their works in its exhibition space. The gallery also hosts master classes, salons, musical and literary-musical events, and lectures. The annual event "Museum Night" takes place, and in December, Artist's Day is celebrated.
