On September 3, 2017, the historical park 'Russia, My History' opened in Yekaterinburg. A building with an area of 7,000 square meters was constructed for this multimedia park. The park offers a different perspective on the history of Russia, distinct from that presented at the Yeltsin Center.

In the first two years of operation, from 2017 to 2019, the park 'Russia, My History. Sverdlovsk Region' was visited by more than 230,000 people. Over 15,000 excursions have been conducted here, a significant portion of which consists of organized school groups. The park features four permanent exhibitions: 'Rurikids', 'Romanovs', 'From Great Upheavals to Great Victory: 1914, 1945' and 'Russia, My History: 1945, 2017'. Each of them includes regional content developed by Yekaterinburg historians and archaeologists.

The park actively attracts the attention of young people, offering not only tours of all four exhibitions but also intellectual games, in which parents of schoolchildren happily participate, such as educational quests and brain rings.

Interaction with schools is two-way: teachers have become an important part of the dialogue between the park and educational institutions in Yekaterinburg and the Sverdlovsk region. Workshops, seminars, and lectures by renowned scholars and educators on relevant historical and methodological issues are held here. Teachers use the park's resources to conduct lessons, and parents positively assess the park's opportunities for preparing for history exams.

The Yekaterinburg park functions as an open educational space for everyone: seminars, lectures, presentations, creative meetings, and conferences on various topics take place here. The film lecture hall is particularly popular, where discussions are held after film screenings.
