The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, located in the center of the village, has a rich history that began in 1790. At that time, people from all around came here to pray. A wooden church once stood on the site of the current stone temple.

The construction of the church involved the residents of Rogozna, as well as General and mathematician Nikolai Vasilyevich Khristiani and his wife Yekaterina Alexandrovna. Both were buried near the church, not far from the altar. During the Bolshevik regime, the church and cemetery were desecrated, and ancient gravestones were used as foundations for new buildings. Such was the fate of the monuments of the Khristiani couple, which were discovered in the early 21st century in the foundation of one of the village's residential houses.

To the right of the church entrance, there used to be a chapel, but it was dismantled for building materials during the Soviet era. Inside the church, some wall paintings have partially survived.

The Church of the Exaltation is currently in a semi-ruined state, but a parish is already functioning there. The villagers are providing assistance in the restoration of the church.
