The reference book of the Omsk diocese, compiled by Ioann Goloshubin and published in Omsk at the Irtysh printing house in 1914, reports:

The church dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul was built in 1849 thanks to the efforts and funds of the parishioners. It is wooden, stands on a stone foundation, and has a wooden bell tower connected to the main building. The church is sturdy and well-equipped with utensils. It houses a revered icon of the Abalak Mother of God. The church has no capital or lands that bring income. In the village of Chernyaeva, there is a wooden chapel in honor of the Nativity of Christ, built with the funds of local residents.

The parish includes 947 men and 901 women, consisting of the village of Korenevo and the villages of Borodikhina, Tutayeva, Chernyaeva, Zalivina, and Koltyugina. At the end of 1907, the settlement of Fedorovsky was populated by migrants from the Vitebsk province, and by 1908 there were 15 households there. The population is mainly old settlers.

The average number of baptisms per year is 140, marriages 21, burials 85. The church parish guardianship was opened in 1906, but it has no capital. In the village of Koltyugina, a church school for literacy was opened in 1902. Zemstvo schools exist: one in the village since 1903 and another in the village of Zalivina since 1900.

The church land includes 90 desyatins of arable land and 9 desyatins of hayfields. There are two public houses for the clergy, sturdy and comfortable, with outbuildings. The clergy buy firewood from the indigenous people.

The priest receives a salary from the treasury of 300 rubles a year, and the psalmist 100 rubles. Brotherhood income amounts to up to 400 rubles a year. In addition, the clergy receives 38 rubles in interest from a capital of 1000 rubles. The priest receives 60 rubles a year for teaching the Law of God in the village school. Parishioners do not refuse to support the church and maintain the clergy's houses in good condition.

Easter processions with holy icons are held in all the houses of the parish. In summer, prayers are performed in the homes of parishioners before the revered icon of the Abalak Mother of God, and sometimes the icon of the Tikhvin Mother of God is brought from the city of Tara. "Visiting" holidays: in the village, January 6, in the village of Zalivina, Trinity Day, in the villages of Chernyaeva and Koltyugina, December 25. Residents of the village of Zalivina take holy icons home after the liturgy in the church and hold a prayer service to the Holy Trinity in the square. Then the clergy visit the homes of parishioners with the Holy Cross.

The main occupation of the population is agriculture. Dairy farming is widely exploited by private individuals who have separators in the villages of Zalivina, Borodikhina, Chernyaeva, and Koltyugina, receiving milk at 30-40 kopecks per pood. Secondary occupations of the population of the village of Korenevo and the villages of Zalivina and Chernyaeva include handicraft production of wooden dishes, making sieves and nets; in the village of Koltyugina, many are engaged in making wheels and carts.

According to the clergy's staff, there is a priest and a psalmist.

The last metric book of the Korenevo parish is dated 1920. It is likely that at this time all church property was nationalized.

The church in the name of Saints Peter and Paul was liquidated as a church in the 1930s.

In 1936, six bells were removed from the Korenevo church and sent to the Tar district executive committee by truck from the Chernyaevsky MTS.

According to the old residents of the village of Korenevo, crosses from the church were installed on the graves of priests in the village cemetery. From the 1930s to the 1950s, the building of the church housed the Korenevo village council.

In the 1960s, the remains of the church building burned down.

The church in the name of Saints Peter and Paul was located where the Korenevo village club now stands.

After more than 80 years, the bells of the Peter and Paul church rang again, but not in the village of Korenevo, but in the village of Zalivino. The ideological inspirers of the construction of the new church were the spouses Sergey Alexandrovich and Nadezhda Viktorovna Myasnikov. The church was decided to be named in honor of the burned church in the village of Korenevo.

The construction of the new church began in August 2014, and on July 12, 2016, the consecration of the church in honor of Saints Peter and Paul took place. The consecration ceremony and Divine Liturgy were conducted by Bishop Savvatiy of Tar and Tyukalinsk.
