The Church of Saint Andrew the First-Called in the Inkerman Monastery was consecrated on July 2, 1900. It is located in a chamber carved into the rock, which is believed to have been created by the labors of Saint Clement. In the western wall of the church, there is a small room hollowed out of the rock, where it is presumed that Saint Clement lived.

The Inkerman St. Clement Monastery is one of the oldest Christian monasteries in the territory of the former Soviet Union. The cave chambers carved into the Monastery Rock are considered a hiding place for the first Christians in Crimea. The ruins of the ancient fortress of Kalamita have also been preserved on the plateau.
