In 1794, the Transfiguration Church was built in the village. From an architectural point of view, the building demonstrates features of retrospective style with a slight influence of pseudo-Russian style. The church is constructed from coniferous logs on a concrete foundation. The architectural plan is based on a two-story square with an octagonal drum without windows, topped with a conical eight-sided dome with a gilded onion-shaped cupola. A small refectory is connected to the first of three tiers of the bell tower, and the belfry has large light openings.

The church has no external finishing, preserving a natural appearance without carved decor and painting. Interestingly, windows are almost absent: the refectory has only five small light openings. The interior decoration includes wall paintings and a wooden iconostasis, and the only altar is dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. Lighting is provided by chandeliers and candles.

In the 1930s, the church, where services were held for almost 150 years, was destroyed. In the early 21st century, construction of a new church began on its site. The new church was consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker on August 29, 2008.
