After the death of A.N. Nelidov in 1834, the estate in Mokva passed to his son Arkady Arkadyevich. At this time, a two-story brick Savior Church was built south of the palace (1848), next to which were stables and utility buildings. A significant greenhouse operation was also established, and work on the park's improvement continued.

From the late 19th century until 1917, the estate was owned by A.A. Nelidov's nephew, Pyotr Petrovich Volkov. He organized a zemstvo school for 80 children in Mokva and transformed the home Savior Church into a parish church.

After the events of 1917, the estate's property was mostly looted, and the family archive disappeared. The ponds were drained. From 1922 to 1939, the palace building housed a rest home for the 'Gubsocstraha'. From 1941 to 1943, Mokva was under Nazi occupation, which led to significant damage to the park: strong trees were cut down, and some buildings were destroyed. From 1943 to 1946, the surviving buildings housed a military hospital. Since 1948, a sanatorium has been operating on the estate's territory, initially for tuberculosis, and from 1958, for gastrointestinal issues. The Savior Church was destroyed in 1969, and a prophylactic building was constructed in its place. The ponds were dammed again, but the lower pond turned into a swamp.
