The church began construction in the late 1980s under the guidance of Archimandrite Georgy (Savva) as a new parish church for the city and was completed in 1991. In 1992, a men's monastery was established at the church. The building of the church has a rectangular shape, topped with a dome and a two-tiered tent bell tower.

Currently, 80 brothers live in the Holy Spirit Men's Monastery, performing various obediences and work in the monastery. There are carpentry, woodworking, locksmith, and candle-making workshops. The monastery in Krasnodar Krai houses revered relics: the icons of the Mother of God "Burning Bush" and "Vladimir", as well as the icon of Saint Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon.
