The ensemble of the urban estate of the 18th and 19th centuries includes a two-story main building, a gatehouse, and a stone fence with gates. The estate is located in the area of the former German settlement near the "Baumanskaya" metro station. The main building, erected in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, has preserved its spatial layout, as well as its exterior finish and interior decor.

The estate originally included the main house, wings, utility rooms, and gardens. The modern boundaries of the property were formed in 1819 from two previously independent plots, western and eastern. In 1896, the gatehouse and fence with gates were built according to the design of architect Nikolai Yakunin.

In the early 20th century, the estate belonged to hereditary honorary citizens, the Borodins. The production and storage buildings housed the musical instrument workshop of the Gokh brothers. In 1911, the storage building was partially raised. That same year, the property was listed under the administration of the Borodin brothers. In 1912, the Lefortovo City Primary School was located on the estate's territory.

The main building of the estate is designed in the classical style and is complemented by elements of other styles. Its main facade is adorned with a triangular pediment, pilasters, and rectangular moldings. The ensemble was formed from the late 18th to the late 19th century and plays an important role in the appearance of Starokirchny Lane, which was considered ceremonial due to its proximity to the Lefortovo Palace.

The interiors of the main building have preserved ceiling stuccoes, stucco ceilings of the ceremonial halls, slender panelled pilasters framing doorways, panelled doors, and 19th-century stoves.
