The two-story wing on Lopukhinsky Lane is an important part of the Lopukhins' estate, Stanitskaya, built between 1817 and 1822 by architect A.G. Grigoriev. It is one of the best examples of Empire-style residential architecture in Moscow. The lane got its name from this estate, one of the wealthiest in the area.

In 1894, the property was acquired by Ekaterina Ivanovna Stanitskaya, the wife of a court advisor. She remodeled the stone two-story wing for renting out apartments. The project was developed by academician of architecture Sergey Ustinovich Solovyov.

In 1911, Stanitskaya sold the property to F.V. Chelnokov, and in 1917 it passed to Augusta Petrovna Gench-Ogluyeva. Until the 1970s, the wing housed apartments, and between 1978 and 1980, it was converted into a storage facility for the Leo Tolstoy Museum, which had occupied the main house of the estate since 1920.

The wing has retained its appearance after the renovations of 1894, but inside it conceals elements from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The building has a U-shape and five entrances. The main facade facing Lopukhinsky Lane is symmetrical, with nine window axes. The central part is adorned with a decorative attic, while the side parts feature rectangular attics and balconies on massive brackets. A profiled inter-floor belt runs throughout the building. The windows and balcony doors on the second floor are decorated with architraves with keystones and sandriks. Flat aprons are located under the windows, and between the windows of the central risalit, there are profiled panels with semi-circular finishes. The main facade is crowned with a cornice with small decorative elements.

The courtyard and side facades are more modest, with large arched windows for the stairwell and hall. The other windows are rectangular with window sill profiles. During the conversion into a storage facility, some windows on the first floor were bricked up.

Inside the building, there is a corridor system. In the basement, vestibule, and hall of the first floor, cylindrical and cross vaults have been preserved. The vestibule contains a stove from the late 19th century. Two staircases have been preserved: a stone main staircase and a reinforced concrete one on plastered metal stringers.

In the interiors of the first and second floors, wooden doors with panels have been preserved.
