Dovmont's Town is a fortification added to the Pskov Kremlin in the mid-13th century. Initially, it was not part of the Kremlin and was considered a separate street, but as the settlement grew, it became an integral part of the city. Dovmont's Town is first mentioned in chronicles in the late 14th century. Soon, the Rybnitskaya and Vlasyevskaya towers were built here, which have survived to this day.

On the territory of Dovmont's Town, adjacent to the fortress wall, archaeologists discovered the foundations and fragments of walls of more than ten cathedrals located very close to each other. Restoration work is currently underway, and it is planned to open four churches for visitors soon. In total, 17 churches were built during the existence of Dovmont's Town. The wall paintings of the churches, which are part of Pskov's antiquity, were transported to Leningrad and are now stored in the new repository of the Hermitage in the Old Village on the Black River.

In addition to the foundations, walls, and towers of the complex, it is worth visiting a small historical museum that features a model of the Kremlin with Dovmont's Town. Attention should also be paid to the Persi fortress wall, where a composition is installed in honor of the Battle on Lake Chud.
