Anna Egorovna and Mark Markovich Lyuboshchinsky acquired a mansion with columns on Zubovsky Boulevard in 1902. By 1912, they built a tenement house, which now has the address No. 15, building 1.

According to family memories, Mark Markovich wanted to use the tenement house to shield himself from the revolutionary events of 1905-1907. As a result, the mansion ended up hidden behind a tall building, and its six-column portico can only be seen by peering through the archway. This archway was captured in the film "The House in Which I Live," directed by Lev Kulidzhakov.
