In ancient Suzdal, among the famous monasteries, stands an old merchant house that once belonged to the Likhonin family of tanners, known even in Moscow. Today, it operates as an unusual museum-type hotel, where the charm of Russian style meets modern comfort.

On the second floor, there are living rooms. Modern amenities harmoniously coexist with elements of the past: a Russian stove, wooden beds, colorful bedspreads, lace curtains on the windows, and blooming geraniums.

The hotel is small, with only 2 single and 3 double rooms. A special highlight is the common lounge for relaxation, featuring muted tones, a huge merchant buffet, and a large table. The interior is complemented by soft modern sofas and kerosene lamps. Guests are served breakfast made from village products, which is included in the accommodation price.

The ensemble of the Likhonin estate is protected by the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-Reserve and is a monument of urban planning and architecture of regional significance. A museum exhibition is planned to open here soon, so it is advisable not to postpone your visit.
