One of the pre-revolutionary landmarks on Pushkinskaya Street in Rostov-on-Don is the income house of the Gribanov spouses, built in 1911 and now recognized as a cultural heritage site of regional significance. The building is located in the very center of the city, surrounded by greenery. This cozy view awakens the desire to visit the house and, opening all the windows, read a book on the windowsill.

However, the Gribanov spouses did not enjoy the financial fruits of their labor for long. In 1920, with the arrival of Soviet power in Rostov-on-Don, their house was confiscated, and the further fate of its legal owners remains unknown. For many years, the new government used the building at its discretion, not caring for its preservation as an architectural monument. Only in our time has the house undergone repairs, but the first floor was spoiled by modern tiles that do not match the historical appearance of the building.

Today, this building houses a bank branch and a small hotel.
