One of the pre-revolutionary buildings in Rostov-on-Don is the income house of P.I. Livenko, located on Chekhov Street. Built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, this three-story building served as an income house until the arrival of Soviet power. In 1920, it was confiscated from its owners, whose further fate remains unknown.

Today, the former income house of Livenko is once again in private ownership. The two upper floors are used as residential spaces, while the first floor houses two large stores. The building is in satisfactory condition and has recently been included in the list of cultural heritage sites of regional significance.
