One of the monuments of pre-revolutionary architecture in Rostov-on-Don is the Myltsin Income House, built in the late 19th century by order of Fyodor Ivanovich Myltsin, who was the director of the Rostov City Public Bank, a well-known philanthropist, and an honorary citizen.

This income house not only represents an ancient building but also serves as an important center of the city, influencing the surrounding development. The architectural style of the house is characteristic of the mansions that were later built in Rostov-on-Don. The first floor housed a commercial establishment, and the house itself is adorned with elements of neoclassical electrical style.

Today, the building of the former income house is included in the list of cultural heritage sites of regional significance and is protected by the state. Interestingly, during recent restoration work, multi-level basements were discovered, extending underground. They may be part of the underground tunnels beneath the center of Rostov-on-Don.
