In 1744, the land belonged to Prince Vladimir Petrovich Dolgorukov. He was the governor of Riga and Revel under Elizabeth Petrovna but preferred Riga to Moscow. In 1761, the estate passed to his son Vasily Vladimirovich, who, like his father, did not live there.

From 1776, the owner became Dolgorukov's daughter, Praskovya Vladimirovna Melissino. Her husband, a notable figure, studied with Sumarokov, was the director of Moscow University, and the guardian of the Moscow Educational House. The Melissino family was close to M.A. Pushkin, who participated in the coup of 1762 that brought Catherine II to the throne. In 1772, when Mikhail Alexeyevich was exiled to Siberia for counterfeiting, Praskovya took his son Alexey into her care. He later became the owner of the Melissino estate on Bolshaya Dmitrovka and gained fame as a poet and translator.

From 1834, the estate was owned by Santin Petrovich Campioni, an ornamental sculptor from Northern Italy. He moved to St. Petersburg with his father and then to Moscow, where he opened a workshop on Dmitrovka. Campioni decorated the interiors of many famous buildings, and his children also became sculptors. The workshop existed until the early 20th century.

In 1883, the property was divided. Campioni remained at B. Dmitrovka, 22, while part went to O.P. Leva, the wife of a wine merchant. Olga Pavlovna built a new house and acquired a plot of land, creating an unusually shaped lot.

In 1903, merchant D.I. Kabanov sold the property to the Moscow Loan Association. Architect A.V. Ivanov designed a five-story income house, built in 1904. The building had basement storage, elevators, a laundry room, and a public toilet. The first floor housed shops and offices, the second had the representation of the "Theophile Pathé Cinematographs" company and apartments, and the fifth had a hat shop. After the revolution, a pawnshop continued to operate here, which still exists today as OAO MGKL "Mosgorlombard," founded on July 5, 1924.
