The church is located in a cemetery surrounded by a picturesque pine forest, which is part of a park stretching to the southwest of the city.

The initiator of the chapel's construction in memory of liberation from serfdom was church elder I. Ya. Yelshin. He also organized fundraising and construction. At the suggestion of manager V. S. Pyatov, it was decided to build not a chapel, but a church "over the ashes of ancestors." The decision to lay the church's foundation was made at a general factory meeting on February 10, 1864, and at that time, the city community donated about 150,000 bricks and 700 rubles. The consecration took place on October 31, 1868, and the cemetery's All Saints Church was assigned to the Trinity Factory.

An analysis of the monument's layout and appearance shows that it was originally a centralized cross-shaped chapel with a small altar to the east. There were three openings, two of which were later bricked up. The bell tower was added in 1887 at the initiative of A. A. Zigel, costing 1205 rubles. The completion of the cemetery's improvement occurred in 1894 when it was enclosed with a fence on a brick base with wooden filling. The architectural composition of the monument is distinctive. The rough proportions, wide arches of the bell tower, and large capitals suggest an unprofessional project or its revision during construction. The facade decor includes small rustication and pilasters of the lower tier of the bell tower, an entablature, and a band of shallow elongated strips encircling the drum. The runner, adorning the upper tier of the bell tower at the cornice level, stands out particularly. The central space of the interior is covered by a dome with a ring of a light drum. The arms of the cross and the narthex have cylindrical vaults. The dimensions of the building are: length 19.2 m, width 12.8 m, height of the bell tower with the cross about 15 m.

During the Soviet era, the church was closed. Worship services resumed in 1993 with the blessing of Metropolitan Khrisanf of Vyatka and Slobodskoy.
